Our specialty
AA Air Conditioning & Radiators opened in 1992 as one of South Florida's first auto air conditioning and radiator shops. We build our own A/C hoses, driers and compressors, so we can repair what other shops replace or send out.
We service everything from Hondas, Toyotas and Chevrolets to Bentleys and Maseratis, install complete A/C systems in vehicles that never had one, and supply compressors to local garages and to customers in the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands and Latin America.
A recharge without finding the leak only buys time. We find the leak, fix it, and charge the system to factory spec.

Starting and charging system testing, alternator and starter replacement, and a full line of automotive batteries.
Window motors, regulators and switches, plus wiring faults, fuses, relays and battery drains.
Head gaskets and head jobs, oil leaks and complete engine replacements, all backed by our warranty.
Diagnosis and repair for slipping, hard-shifting or leaking transmissions, plus CV joints and axles, on foreign and domestic vehicles.
Shocks and struts, tie rods, ball joints, control arms, pitman arms and bushings, replaced with the right equipment.
Computer diagnostics with current scan tools and lab scopes, and tune-ups that restore performance and gas mileage.
Oil and filter changes with the oil your engine calls for, plus air and cabin filters and the routine checks that catch problems early.
Timing belt and water pump replacement on all makes and models, done before a broken belt leaves you stranded.

A lot of shops pay mechanics and service writers a cut of every repair order. Here, every employee, managers included, earns a fixed weekly salary. Nobody gains from padding your bill, so we only recommend what your vehicle needs.

Car A/C
Yes, in most cases. Aftermarket A/C comes as vehicle-specific kits that bolt into many classic cars and trucks, or universal under-dash units that adapt to almost anything with room for the parts. Whether it's worth it depends on the engine, the cooling system and the car.

Radiators & Cooling
If your car overheats when the A/C is on, the A/C usually isn't the problem. It adds engine load and heat in front of the radiator that a weak cooling fan, clogged fins, low coolant, or a failing water pump or thermostat can't handle, especially in stop-and-go traffic.

Car A/C
The most common signs of a bad A/C compressor are warm air from the vents, a clutch that won't engage, grinding or rattling when the A/C kicks on, and oil around the compressor. A fuse, relay or low refrigerant can cause the same signs, so shops test before replacing it.
